Grabak was founded late in 1995. We gave our music elements of old German thrash bands and scandinavian Black Metal bands of the second generation.
Grabak is:

Steffen Ellebood – bass guitar

Since our latest release “The Serpent within Paradise” via CCP-Records there were some line-up changes since 2003. From today’s point of view these changes proved to be more a fortune because we were able to develop in terms of speed, variety and virtuosity.
Musically, all new songs reflect our growing anger and hate about life and surrounding sphere.
In terms of lyrics we decided to use both English and German as language to transport the dark message of the music.
Feel free to listen carefully to Grabak’s special trademark namely the distorted bass guitar we have in addition to the conventional one. This bass replaces a second (common) guitar totally.
In 2006 Grabak is definitely one of the fastest German bands combining sinister arrangements, melodic parts and blasting aggression with Thrash and Death Metal influences. In spite of the musical development, we are absolutely rooted in Black Metal. Once a writer of a bigger German Metal magazine wrote about us: “The editorial office was polarized by the new album…”
That’s exactly what we want to do – to polarize, fascinate and provoke with music and lyrics.
Now, in 2007 Grabak released the most devastating sound demon they ever spawned. True Black metal atmosphere and furious blasts conjure up all known evil.
